2 People Stabbed In Quincy, Police Investigate

An argument between two groups of people escalated into a stabbing in Norfolk County, officials said.

Two people were hospitalized after a stabbing in Quincy that occurred around 9 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 23 in Quincy, according to the Quincy Police Department. 

A 911 call reported a "disorder" and a stabbing victim near 230 Washington Street. Police responded and determined that two groups of people who knew each other got into an argument that escalated into a fight. 

Police were told that a second stabbing victim was at a home on Edwards Street. Police responded, found the victim, and determined the location of the original stabbing. 

EMS treated both victims and transported them to area hospitals for treatment of their non-life-threatening injuries. 

No arrests have yet been made. Police say there is no danger to the public.

Quincy detectives are investigating.
